Silicon Valley Recovery Website Terms and Conditions

Effective Date: 28th August, 2026

Please read these Terms carefully. Section 15 requires most disputes to be resolved by individual arbitration and waives the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action. You may opt out of arbitration within 30 days.

1. Agreement to These Terms

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Silicon Valley Recovery, LLC, doing business as Silicon Valley Recovery (“we,” “us,” or “our”), covering your use of siliconvalleyrecovery.com (the “Website”).

By using the Website, submitting a form, or otherwise interacting with us through it, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy (https://siliconvalleyrecovery.com/privacy-policy/) and Website Cookie Policy (https://siliconvalleyrecovery.com/cookie-policy), which are part of this agreement. If you do not agree, please do not use the Website.

2. The Website Is Information, Not Care

The Website describes medical detox, residential treatment, medication-assisted treatment, dual diagnosis treatment, and aftercare services and provides general educational information. It does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment, and reading it does not create a provider-patient relationship. A clinical relationship begins only after an intake and assessment process and, where required, a signed consent to treatment.

Do not delay seeking care, and do not disregard advice from a licensed professional, because of something you read here. Individual circumstances differ; nothing on the Website is a recommendation for your specific situation.

3. If You Need Help Right Now

The Website is not monitored continuously. Do not use it to report an emergency.

  • Life-threatening emergency: call 911.
  • Suicidal thoughts, a mental health crisis, or a substance use crisis: call or text 988 to reach the 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, free and confidential, 24 hours a day.
  • Treatment referrals and information: SAMHSA National Helpline, 1-800-662-HELP (1-800-662-4357), free and confidential, 24 hours a day, in English and Spanish. TTY: 1-800-487-4889.

4. Who May Use the Website

You may use the Website if you are at least 18 and able to enter a binding agreement. Silicon Valley Recovery serves adults 18 and older. The Website is not directed to anyone under 18, and we ask that minors not submit information through it.

5. Information You Send Us

Website forms, email, and voicemail are ordinary business communication channels. They are not secure and they are not monitored at all hours. Please send only what is needed to start a conversation — your name, how to reach you, and a general description of what you are looking for.

Please do not send detailed treatment history, diagnoses, medication lists, laboratory results, or clinical records through a Website form or ordinary email. If we need that information, we will collect it through a secure channel after we speak.

Information you submit before you become a patient is handled under our Privacy Policy. Records created once you are in treatment are handled under our Notice of Privacy Practices ([NPP-URL]) and applicable federal and state health-privacy law. For substance use disorder treatment, that includes 42 C.F.R. Part 2, which protects the fact that a person has sought or received treatment, not only the contents of the record.

6. Insurance Verification

If you ask us to check benefits, we contact your insurer and report back what they tell us. That result is an estimate at a point in time. It is not a guarantee of coverage, of a benefit level, of medical necessity, or of payment, and it does not bind your insurer or us. Final determinations come from your plan, and you remain responsible for amounts your plan does not cover under the financial agreement you sign at admission.

7. What We Do and Do Not Claim

We describe our programs, our staff credentials, and our approach accurately, and we do not promise results. Treatment outcomes depend on many factors, including individual circumstances and participation. Nothing on the Website is a guarantee, a warranty, or a prediction of any particular outcome, and nothing on it should be read as a claim that any condition can be cured.

Silicon Valley Recovery is licensed to operate in California under license number DHCS License #430053AP. Our substance use disorder programs are LegitScript certified.

We do not pay, and we do not accept, anything of value in exchange for a patient referral. We do not compensate any person or organization based on whether an inquiry becomes an admission. If someone offers to place you with us for a fee, that is not an arrangement we participate in, and we would like to know about it — please contact contact@siliconvalleyrecovery.com.

Testimonials, reviews, and stories on the Website reflect the experience of the individual described. They are not typical results and they are not a prediction of what anyone else will experience.

8. Tracking Technologies and Your Consent

The Website uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies. Except for the ones needed to make the site work, they run only after you enable them in our consent banner. The Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy list each technology, the company that receives the data, what it collects, and how long it lasts.

By choosing “Accept” or enabling a category, you consent to the collection and transmission described in those documents for the categories you enabled. You can change or withdraw that consent at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link in the Website footer, and we honor the Global Privacy Control signal as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

9. Acceptable Use

When using the Website, please do not:

  • Submit false information or impersonate another person.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or any account.
  • Introduce malicious code, scrape or harvest data by automated means, or interfere with the Website’s operation or security.
  • Use the Website to send unsolicited commercial messages or to solicit our staff, patients, or visitors.
  • Post or transmit content that is unlawful, harassing, defamatory, or that infringes another person’s rights.
  • Use the Website in a way that violates any applicable federal, state, or local law.

We may suspend or block access to the Website for conduct that violates these Terms or threatens the Website’s security or availability.

10. Intellectual Property

The Website and its content — text, graphics, layout, photographs, video, logos, and software — are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws. You may view and print pages for your own personal, non-commercial use. Any other reproduction, distribution, modification, or commercial use requires our written permission.

If you believe content on the Website infringes your copyright, contact contact@siliconvalleyrecovery.com with a description of the work, the location of the material, your contact information, and a statement of your good-faith belief that the use is unauthorized.

11. Content You Submit

If you send us feedback, a review, a photograph, or other content that is not part of a treatment record, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use it in connection with our services, and you confirm that you have the right to provide it. We will not publish content that identifies you as a patient or a person who has sought treatment without separate written authorization that meets the requirements of applicable health-privacy law.

12. Third-Party Websites and Content

The Website links to and embeds material from other companies, including maps, videos, and reviews. We do not control those services and are not responsible for their content, availability, or privacy practices. Following a link is at your own discretion, and the other company’s terms and privacy policy will govern once you leave.

13. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website and its content are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, non-infringement, and any warranty that the Website will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, error-free, or free of harmful components. We do not warrant that information on the Website is complete, current, or applicable to your circumstances.

This section limits warranties about the Website. It does not limit the professional obligations we owe to a person receiving care from us, which are governed by the treatment agreement, our licenses, and applicable law.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we and our owners, officers, employees, and contractors will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, arising out of or relating to your use of the Website, even if we have been advised that such damages are possible.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Website will not exceed one hundred dollars ($100.00).

Some states do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for gross negligence, willful misconduct, or personal injury where the law forbids limitation.

15. Dispute Resolution, Arbitration, and Class Action Waiver

Read this section carefully. It affects how disputes between us are resolved and limits the forums available to you.

15.1 Talk to us first

Before starting arbitration, please send a written notice describing the dispute and the relief you want to Silicon Valley Recovery, LLC, 1189 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125, with a copy to contact@siliconvalleyrecovery.com. We will send a similar notice to you. We each agree to try in good faith to resolve the dispute for 60 days after the notice. This step is a condition to starting arbitration, and the time limits for bringing a claim are paused while it runs.

15.2 Agreement to arbitrate

If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you and we agree that any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to the Website, these Terms, our marketing, or our website tracking technologies — whether based in contract, statute, tort, or any other theory — will be resolved by binding individual arbitration rather than in court, except as stated in Section 15.4.

The arbitration will be administered by JAMS under its Streamlined or Comprehensive Arbitration Rules, whichever applies, together with the JAMS Consumer Arbitration Minimum Standards. A single arbitrator will decide the dispute. The arbitrator may award any relief that a court could award to you individually. The Federal Arbitration Act governs the interpretation and enforcement of this section.

The arbitration will be conducted by written submission, by telephone, or by video conference unless the arbitrator decides an in-person hearing is needed. Any in-person hearing will take place in Santa Clara County, California, or in the county where you live if you prefer. We will pay arbitration filing and administrative fees to the extent the JAMS consumer standards require, and each side otherwise bears its own attorneys’ fees unless a statute or the arbitrator provides otherwise.

15.3 Class action and jury trial waiver

Arbitration will be conducted on an individual basis only. You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and the right to participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action, or to serve as a class representative or class member, unless both sides agree in writing otherwise. The arbitrator may not preside over any form of representative proceeding.

15.4 What is not covered

  • Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court if it qualifies and stays in that court.
  • Either of us may seek injunctive relief in court to stop unauthorized use of intellectual property or unauthorized access to systems.
  • Claims that cannot be arbitrated as a matter of law are excluded.
  • To the extent applicable law provides that a claim for public injunctive relief may not be waived or sent to arbitration, that claim may be brought in court. If a court decides such a claim must proceed in court, it is severed and paused while the remaining claims are arbitrated.
  • Disputes about the care a patient received are governed by the treatment agreement and applicable state law, not by this section.

15.5 Coordinated or mass filings

If 25 or more similar arbitration demands are filed against us by or with the help of the same lawyers or coordinated firms, the demands will be grouped into batches of no more than 50 claimants each. Each batch is treated as a single arbitration with one arbitrator and one set of filing fees, and batches proceed in sequence. The arbitrator may allow the first batches to resolve common issues before later batches proceed. Filing deadlines are paused for claimants whose batch has not yet begun. Either side may ask JAMS to decide whether this provision applies.

15.6 Your right to opt out

You may opt out of Sections 15.2 through 15.5 by sending written notice within 30 days after you first accept these Terms. Send your full name, the address associated with your use of the Website, and a clear statement that you are opting out of arbitration to Silicon Valley Recovery, LLC, 1189 Curtner Avenue, San Jose, CA 95125, or by email to contact@siliconvalleyrecovery.com. Opting out affects nothing else in these Terms and will not be held against you in any way.

15.7 Survival and severability

This section survives the end of your relationship with us. If any part of it is found unenforceable, that part is severed and the rest remains in effect, except that if the class action waiver in Section 15.3 is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim proceeds in court and the remaining claims stay in arbitration.

16. Governing Law and Venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. For any dispute not subject to arbitration, you and we agree to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in Santa Clara County, California, and each of us waives any objection to venue there. Nothing in this section limits any right you have under the consumer-protection law of the state where you live.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms. The Effective Date at the top shows the current version, and material changes will be announced on the Website. Continuing to use the Website after a change means you accept the updated Terms. A change to Section 15 does not apply to a dispute for which written notice was already given.

18. General

  • Entire agreement. These Terms, the Privacy Policy, and the Cookie Policy are the complete agreement about your use of the Website.
  • Severability. If a provision is unenforceable, the rest stays in effect.
  • No waiver. Not enforcing a provision once does not waive it later.
  • Assignment. You may not assign these Terms. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
  • Force majeure. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside reasonable control.
  • Notices. We may give notice by posting on the Website or emailing the address you provided.
  • Accessibility. We work to keep the Website usable with assistive technology. If you have trouble using any part of it, contact contact@siliconvalleyrecovery.com or call (408) 454-6905 and we will help you get the information another way.
