Silicon Valley Recovery Website Cookie Policy

Effective Date: 28th August, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Silicon Valley Recovery, LLC, doing business as Silicon Valley Recovery (“we,” “us,” or “our”), uses cookies, pixels, and similar technologies on siliconvalleyrecovery.com (the “Website”), what each one collects, who receives it, and how to change your choices. It works together with our Privacy Policy (https://siliconvalleyrecovery.com/privacy-policy/) and our consent banner. The technologies listed here reflect a scan of the Website completed on August 26, 2026.

The Short Version

Apart from the technologies needed to make the Website work, nothing listed here runs until you enable it in our cookie banner. You can change or withdraw your choice at any time through the “Cookie Settings” link in the Website footer, and we honor the Global Privacy Control browser signal as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information.

What These Technologies Are

  • Cookies are small text files a website stores in your browser so it can recognize that browser and remember information.
  • Pixels, also called web beacons or tags, are small pieces of code that send information — such as the page you are viewing, your IP address, and cookie identifiers — to a provider’s servers when a page loads or you take an action.
  • Session replay and heatmap scripts record how a page is used, including clicks, scrolling, and mouse movement, so we can find and fix confusing layouts.
  • Local storage and similar browser storage keep values in your browser to support site features and measurement.
  • Dynamic number insertion swaps the phone number shown on a page so an inbound call can be matched to the marketing source that produced it.

When a third-party provider is involved, information such as your IP address, the URL of the page you are on, the referring page, browser and device details, and cookie or session identifiers may be transmitted to that provider, subject to the choices described below.

How Consent Works Here

  • First visit. A banner appears before any non-essential technology loads. You can accept everything, decline everything, or choose categories individually.
  • Nothing optional fires early. Analytics, advertising, and functional technologies stay off until you enable their category. Our consent platform blocks them until then and passes your choices to Google’s and other providers’ consent settings.
  • Declining is as easy as accepting. The decline control sits alongside the accept control, takes the same number of steps, and is presented with equal prominence.
  • Change anytime. Select “Cookie Settings” in the Website footer to reopen your choices. Withdrawing consent stops future collection in that category; it does not undo collection that already happened while consent was active.
  • Global Privacy Control. If your browser sends a GPC signal, we treat it as a valid opt-out of the sale or sharing of personal information for that browser and disable advertising technologies accordingly.
  • New technology, new choice. If we add a tracking technology or a new third-party recipient, we update this page and re-present the banner.

1. Strictly Necessary (always active)

These make the Website work — delivering pages, keeping it secure, and remembering your cookie choices. They do not require consent, and blocking them may break parts of the site.

Technology Provider What it does and collects Duration
Session and security cookies WP Engine, Inc. and us Page delivery, load balancing, session integrity, and protection against abuse. Collects session identifiers and security tokens. Session to 12 months
Google Tag Manager (GTM-TWPXRXR) Google LLC Tag management, not tracking. Loads and controls the other tags on this Website according to your consent choices, and sets no advertising or analytics cookies of its own. Not applicable
Google reCAPTCHA Google LLC Distinguishes people from automated form abuse. Collects IP address, device and browser signals, and interaction patterns. Per Google’s policy
Elementor Pro form processing Elementor Ltd. (software); processed by us Delivers what you submit in a form to our team and prevents duplicate submissions. Collects the form contents and basic submission metadata. Per our retention schedule

2. Analytics and Performance (consent required)

These help us understand how the Website is used so we can improve it. They are off until you enable this category.

Technology Provider What it collects Duration
Google Analytics 4 (G-0WSTHR0L5R); cookies such as _ga and _ga_* Google LLC Pages viewed, referring page, session events, device and browser details, IP address, analytics identifiers Up to 24 months
Microsoft Clarity (project iy6xbbwxei); cookies such as _clck and _clsk Microsoft Corporation Session replay and heatmaps: clicks, scrolling, mouse movement, page URLs, device details, IP address Up to 12 months

Google and Microsoft act as our analytics providers and process this information under their own policies. Google offers an Analytics opt-out browser add-on, and Microsoft describes Clarity in its privacy statement.

3. Advertising and Marketing (consent required)

These measure whether our advertising works. Information disclosed to these companies for cross-context behavioral advertising is treated as “sharing” under California law and may be treated as a “sale” or as “targeted advertising” elsewhere. Enabling this category is entirely your choice, and declining it does not change what we offer you.

Technology Provider What it collects Duration
Google Ads conversion tracking (AW-10983364950); cookies such as _gcl_au Google LLC Ad click identifiers, conversion events, page URLs, IP address Up to 3 months

We use Google Ads for conversion measurement only. We do not use remarketing, audience building, or customer-list matching from visits to this Website, and we configure our tags so they do not transmit the contents of form fields. Advertising tags are excluded from insurance verification, admissions, and contact pages regardless of your consent choice. We do not deploy the Meta Pixel or any other social media advertising pixel.

4. Functional and Communications (consent required)

These support features you ask for, such as call tracking, email signup, reviews, maps, and video.

Technology Provider What it collects Duration
CallRail dynamic number insertion and form tracking (company 802037689) CallRail, Inc. The number you call from, the tracking number dialed, call time and length, marketing source and referring page, form submission events, and call recordings, which are disclosed to you at the start of the call Cookie up to 12 months
Klaviyo onsite tracking and forms (company XBLFLp) Klaviyo, Inc. What you submit in a signup form, email opens and clicks, pages viewed, site activity identifiers, and general location derived from IP address Up to 24 months
Embedded video Google LLC (YouTube) and Vimeo, Inc. Viewing data and provider identifiers when an embedded video loads or plays Per the provider’s policy
Embedded maps Google LLC IP address, device details, and map interactions when a map loads Per Google’s policy

5. Technologies We Do Not Use

We do not deploy the Meta Pixel, Microsoft Advertising (Bing) UET, TikTok, LinkedIn, Reddit, Snapchat, Pinterest, or Nextdoor pixels, Hotjar or any session replay tool other than Microsoft Clarity, HubSpot or similar marketing automation, any call tracking vendor other than CallRail, SMS marketing, server-side or enhanced conversion measurement, or any live chat or messaging widget. If any of these is ever added, this page will be updated, the banner version will change, and you will be asked again before it runs.

Your Choices Beyond Our Banner

  • Browser settings. Most browsers let you block or delete cookies. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may break parts of the Website.
  • Google. Manage ad personalization in Google’s My Ad Center, and install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on.
  • Microsoft. Microsoft describes opt-out options for Clarity and its advertising products in its privacy statement.
  • Industry tools. The Digital Advertising Alliance and the Network Advertising Initiative offer opt-outs covering participating companies.
  • Do Not Sell or Share. Use the “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” link in the Website footer ([DO-NOT-SELL-URL]), decline the Advertising category in the banner, or send a GPC signal. Your state privacy rights are described in our Privacy Policy (https://siliconvalleyrecovery.com/privacy-policy/).

Opt-outs are usually stored in a cookie, so clearing cookies or switching browsers or devices may require you to opt out again.

A Note About Health-Related Browsing

This Website is about behavioral health treatment, and we recognize that even the pages a person chooses to read can feel personal. That is why advertising and analytics technologies here are off until you turn them on, why our tags are configured to avoid capturing what you type, why insurance verification, admissions, and contact pages are excluded from advertising tags, and why we honor opt-out signals.

Information you share with us as a patient is governed by our Notice of Privacy Practices ([NPP-URL]) and applicable federal and state health-privacy law, not by this Cookie Policy. For substance use disorder treatment, that includes 42 C.F.R. Part 2, which protects the fact that a person sought or received treatment. Nothing on this page reduces those protections.

Changes to This Cookie Policy

We update this page when our technologies, vendors, or legal obligations change, and we re-scan the Website at least twice a year. The Effective Date at the top shows the current version. Material changes trigger a refreshed consent banner.
